Colombia 03-11-08 Litter

On March 11, 2008, Colombia gave birth to 9 Sharp Albinos 66% possible het Anery (het Snow), 4 Anerys 66% possible het Albino (het Snow), and 14 Normals 66% possible het Albino het Anery (DH Snow). I used the same male, Bogata, that fathered Colombia's 2007 litter that produced the first Sharp Snow. Unfortunately, there weren't any Sharp Snows in the litter, which is amazing considering there were 27 babies in the litter. According to the Punnett Square, 1 out of every 16 babies should be a Snow with this type of breeding. It just goes to show that the Punnett Square is what "should" happen, but nature sometimes has other plans! The Albinos have some great patterns, and there are a range of colors from pink to dark orange. I can't wait to see how they look once they have shed. Here are some pictures of the litter, and you can click a picture for larger versions. Take a look at our 2008 Available Boas page if you are interested in any of the babies from this litter.
